Just a quick reminder: our FIDO2.1 Manager tool, your go-to solution for managing FIDO2 credentials securely, is fully open source! Both the Windows version, created with PowerShell, and a Linux (C++ and Python) version are available.
Both are based on a modified version of the libfido2 executable (with the source code available as well) to allow for more intuitive interaction, including human-readable device names. This modification simplifies the process by enabling PIN entry directly as a command-line argument. Additionally, it provides a GUI written in Python/tkinter for the Linux version and PowerShell for the Windows version.
The Linux version, fido2-manage , is currently in the early beta stage. While it provides essential functionality for managing FIDO2.1 keys under Linux, it is important to note that it is far from being a finished product. However, despite being in beta, it works well enough to fulfill the minimum set of tools required for FIDO2.1 key management on the Linux platform. Additionally, the source code for our PIN+ Java applet is available. Visit our GitHub profile to explore the repositories.
